Conjola 2011

had a nice but short stay down the coast.

Lake Conjola, is around 3 hours drive from Sydney, which I believe is the perfect driving time and distance since it's a decent drive, yet short enough to not let you get sick of the car..

sculptures by the sea 2011

a rainy, wet sculptures 2011 caused myself and my sculptures partner to be running around protecting our cameras from the intermittent rain

BUT! it meant the lighting was all diffused, no harsh shadows!

oh and the "artsy" raindrops.... *corn*

so, i'm back.

so i got back over a week ago, yet now i can kinda blog

as per usual indonesia was hot, dirty, traffic jammed (?), cheap, mosquito ridden and full of interesting food.

sorry i didn't have the big camera on me! this was all point and shoot (can you tell?)

flew garuda direct - immigration for entry into indonesia gets done on board!

this sign says a few things: you can order KFC delivered, and have WiFi at the place

nice and tropial

this explains the floods - how is water meant to get through that junk? (if you haven't figured yet, it's a river)

grilled fish - they make it better and different!

stay tuned in the coming weeks - a fair few events and 21st's coming up!
