La Mint. #3

last night - went to La Mint again!

for a birthday, at the favourite restaurant :)

upon arrival, we started with a refreshing drink, the Saigon 9 a refreshing mix of bombay sapphire, cherry heering liqueur, pineapple, orange, lime and contreau;

we then had an incredible FOUR entrees!
Entree #1: the Nem - a different way to present spring rolls!

Entree #2: Vine Beef Rolls - grilled mince beef wrapped in vine leaves..

Entree #3: Grilled Scallops - baked scallops topped with lemongrass and peanuts

Entree #4: Escargots - baked snail with mint, chilli, tomato and baguette

and then we finally moved onto the mains! everyone was pretty full already, but there's always space right?
Main #1: Lamb Cutlets -  grilled with mushroom and courgettes

Main #2: Chilli Pepper Soft Shell Crab - as the title says..

Main #3: Shaking Eye Fillet - cubes of eye fillet served with snake beans

Main #4: Pave de Porc - THE BEST dish ever. Caramelised pork belly, slow cooked.

And finally, the birthday cake. From 85 degrees cafe, we got the Italian Mousse.

Easily one of the best nights with the best company and best food.
